I would like to request information about chef and waiter hire.
Basically I will be holding my birthday event in Birmingham on April 5th (from 5pm). I have a chef to cook BBQ already but I have around 40 guests. I am afraid that he won’t be able to serve this amount of people. I think I may need to hire one more chef and two waiters. Additionally, I would like cocktails and canapés to start with.
Please give me a more suitable plan, of course, with prices.
I just spoke to you on the phone in regards to using your private chef services. To remind you, we live in Birmingham, Selly Oak, B29. You would be cooking meals for our family, which includes 5 children and 3 adults.
Just to let you know in advance, we only eat seafood and chicken. We like a variety of foods that include: Spanish food that include rice-based dishes such as paella and arroz con pollo (there are others that we do not know about but would like to try), Caribbean food with curries/jerk dishes and all types of Asian foods.
I would be interested to hear more about your pricing based on our situation and preferences.

My fiancé and I are getting married Birmingham on the 30th of December but flying in from Australia so we have hired a house in the Moseley B13 for New Years Eve as we have a number of people flying over for the wedding and want to extend the time out.
We were looking at getting a chef in for New Years eve, the house has a dining room to seat all 20 adults so I thought this would be a lovely thing to do.

|Hi Lucian, we have just spoken over the phone. I am looking for help for 27th April, buffet dinner, for around 30 guests. Hungarian Goulash plus new potatoes, fish curry and rice, for pudding small apfelstrudel (apple strudel) and mixed fruits (berries etc) in a bowl.
I will provide china and cutlery etc, I am just looking for help with the cooking and serving. I have an offer from the caterer I normally use (49 pounds/ heads) but I this is a bit too much for a simple buffet dinner. I would be also happy if the food will be just delivered and I set it up.

We are a group of 12 girls who have hired a house in Birmingham for the weekend to celebrate a 50th birthday. We would like to have a dinner party on the Saturday night, 20 June. We have an 80s theme for the weekend, so we were thinking of something along the lines of prawn cocktail, steak, Black Forest gateau….but all with a modern date twist?

It would need to be canapé/buffet or bbq style (we do have a small garden) as there won’t be sufficient sit down space for that many guests. We would also need to cater for some vegetarian guests. There will be 7 adults, with no special dietary requirements, celebrating our friends 50th and 40th birthdays. We would like a 2 or 3 course meal, ideally with service too. Having been impressed by your website I am writing to pursue the possibility that you might be able to cover the following event:
Start 3.30pm – 12th May – fingerfood/hot bowl food/ teas/coffees/soft and alcoholic drinks for approx 35 guests at my home in Birmingham. To prepare and serve food and drink and to include professional waitresses, and ‘clearer-uppers..’.
The ‘event’ is the funeral service for my mother – which we are seeing as a family and friends celebration of her life.
